Neuroscience Laboratory

The Laboratory of Integrative Neuroscience (LIN) is a unit of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. LIN consists of faculty and students from the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Psychology and Philosophy.The mission of the LIN is to promote research, teaching, and all forms of scholarship on nervous systems and behavior.  Read more...

Chicago Modern Philosophy Roundtable

The Chicago Modern Philosophy Roundtable meets regularly during the academic year to discuss work in progress by graduate students and faculty on topics in the history of early modern and modern philosophy. We offer a welcoming forum focused on providing constructive and critical feedback on papers covering any aspect of philosophy in the sixteenth, seventeenth, or eighteenth centuries. Read more...

Consortium in Ancient Philosophy

There are regularly scheduled workshops, reading groups focusing on Greek and Latin texts, and visiting speakers in ancient philosophy on the participating campuses; students are welcome to attend gatherings at all the institutions. Read more...
