Kant and Leibniz on Substance Workshop
On November 12, the philosophy department together with the Institute for the Humanities held a workshop on "Kant and Leibniz on Substance." The invited speakers were Martha Bolton (Rutgers), Stephen Engstrom (Pittsburgh), James Messina (Wisconsin-Madison), and John Whipple (UIC).
The workshop was organized by Sally Sedgwick, Daniel Sutherland, and John Whipple. A number of graduate students, faculty members, and guests from other universities in the area took part in the workshop.
